Carlos Tizio

A Mendocino by adoption (originally born in La Plata), Carlos is an Agronomist from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo and has a Master of Science degree in Viticulture from the University of California (Davis). He was a Viticulture Researcher at INTA in Lujan de Cuyo for 12 years, specializing in Ampelography, Selection and Crop Management. Together with his mentor, Agronomist Alberto Alcalde, they promoted the Grapevine Program that laid the foundations for structural improvement in Argentine Viticulture.

During the period 2016 to 2019, he was President of the National Institute of Viticulture.

He made numerous trips to the wine regions of Europe and America, and also attended conferences related to specializations and consultancy.


Daniel Heffner

He was born in Berrotarán, an inland town in the province of Córdoba. In 2002 he moved to Mendoza to obtain his degree in Enology and during his studies worked for major wineries there such as Don Cristobal and Nieto Senetiner. In 2008 he relocated to take charge of a family-owned winery in Cafayate. He then began a long journey of consultancies throughout the Calchaqui Valley, passing through Hualfin Catamarca to Cachi Salta, one of the highest winemaking regions in Argentina. Today, he acts as a consultant to several projects in the Valley that have been awarded with numerous medals and recognition worldwide.


German Oteiza

Born in the province of Chaco and raised in the Cafayate Valleys, he grew up among the vineyards of the former Michel Torino winery run by Julio H. Bazán.

In the search for growth in this field, he specialized in different winemaking practices under the guidance of great professionals such as Micheal Rolland and Francois Lurton, among others.

After more than 15 years, he is now in Mendoza, participating in a large project taking shape in Alto Agrelo. With a beautiful and vast estate of 250 hectares, it features the most prestigious varieties, among them Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.


Katia Mer

Born in Villa María Córdoba, she studied at the Universidad Nacional de Villa María obtaining her degree in Design and Audiovisual Production, where she is now a teacher. Thanks to a constant search to learn more about communication, she explored further studies in Mexico City. There, she also forged her professional career applied to advertising, in fulfilling projects for the Coca Cola and Televisa brands.

Katia currently runs Co-Work Agencia, her own advertising agency with a great team of brand communication professionals, providing 360º service to more than 20 companies. In constant expansion, she works with other agencies and professionals from other provinces and abroad, to provide fully comprehensive and innovative services to brands around the world.


Alejandro Rivara

A graduate from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, he is a Certified Public Accountant with two Post Graduate Degrees (an MBA from the Universidad Católica de Córdoba and a Wine MBA from the Universidad Maza, Mendoza).  In his first years as a professional, he worked for multinational companies.  Then linked to the wine industry for over 20 years, he participated in several projects related to the wine industry. For example, he took part in Salentein Argentina BV, the construction of El Portillo Winery in the Uco Valley, Clos de Los Siete (a group of 5 wineries with 450 hectares of vineyards led by the famous French winemaker Michel Rolland and the Agronomist Carlos Tizio), Bodega Familia Schroeder in the province of Neuquén and Achaval Ferrer Winery.

He is also registered in the Professional Boards of Economic Sciences of Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Catamarca.


Rodolfo Pacheco

A lawyer who graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires, he is specialized in Bankruptcy and Insolvency. He also holds a degree as a Notary Public from the Universidad Católica de La Plata.

He is the founder of Red Legal Argentina, Data Consultant B.I.D., also CEO and founder of Fundación Reserva Calaguala, in Merlo San Luis.

He is currently linked to ecology-related activities.
